ya, so i hate beign proved right almost as much as i hate beign proved wrong. i guess miscommunication and misunderstandings are what come along with associating with other girls/women. does this make sense? i was just trying to open myself up to new things and let myself be a girl and i find there is more to it that i imagined, so many twists and intricacies and walking on pins and needles to not hurt the delicate. ok so that was an over reaction. but still. i almost won't go to girl group cause i don't want to deal with so many conflicitng interests. it gets confusing.
i read somethign recently about feminism that we have come so far that we are afforded the luxury of being diverse. i think that fits better than any other definition to expain so many differnt views. oh well
my friend selma showed up in town and it freaked me out. i was sittign watching movie at my work and had this feeling tht i had to go out maybe to the bathroom. then i decided to go check on our bikes and angie told me that selma was looking for me and i was about to go get my bike and go look for her when she walked back in the door. it is odd cause she likes to sparechange downtown and i think there are so many better ways to live homeless and on scams than stupid spare changing. oh well i guess hse will learn. i bought her a sleeping bag because she knows she can't stay iwth me. we have the kind of big sister friendship where we know how much we can take of eachother. i guess that is a good thing.
joe and i are trying ot find her a bike cause what's portland without a bike? we are off to reading frenzy too see if i need to restock and yummy yummy food not bombs.
