soooo, i just told my mom that joe and i are getting married and she seemed to take it quite well, she even congradulated us made joe give her a hug when she left.
i showed her the house and she met some housemates and she helped clean the yard cause she likes gardening and she even brought jeremy's dog, ozzrick, a toy. she brought me pint glasses, and salt and pepper shakers and a whole knife set that she thought was probably a bad engagement gift. tee hee
my cousin is gettign married next year and the plans are ridiculous and out if state and a billion silly dinners that must be paid for. mine will be dyi and awesome.
she wasn't even upset about me wantign all vegan stuff but said my dad might be upset about hte whole costume party thing. he would think that i'm not taking it seriously. we shall see.
so my mom took joe and i to the kennedy school and fred meyer too. she seems happy, now the rest of the family will have to deal with it. i guess this is only the begining. good luck to me.-alex
