2001-07-25 - 11:11 p.m. i woke up this morning and wanted to make pie. so joe and i rode our bikes to the bluffs and picked blackberries (the oregon state weed)they grow all over up here. we got like 10 cups or something. then when i got home i realized that i didn't have a pie tin so i was going to cook it in a cast iron skillet. so i made the mixture and the crust, i even made a latice top, martha stewart eat your heart out. as my housemates grabbed skateboards and moved a free love seat from down the street into our living room. this was actually a test for moving the free fridge down the street. they couldn't find anyone to ask if it worked and it seemed werid to move it down here and realize that it doesn't. so i made some buttons and waited for the pie to cook. joe and i went to another post zine symposium meeting and i'm startign to thing we hve become addicted to eachother with how much we all hang out. i left as sign on the pie as it cooled that told people not to even think about touching it. i wasn't going to leave it on the window sill cause you know that is the easiest way to get your pie stolen by hobo's... which is funny cause we have some traveler kids staying with us. one of them is this girl who is so striking to me. i don't know why. se even seems nice and somethig about her face is so beautiful even though she has a shaved head and orange bangs and probably hasn't showered in a while.... so we got home after a stop at natures to pick up some tofutti with our counterfiet coupons, we had no problems due to a friendly guy who seems to have noticed us from the zine symposium where joe helped with a workshop on scamming and gave out free toffutti coupons. sometimes it is good to have friends who are working for the man. so we got home and we all ate my pie that set perfectly and each piece came out in one piece without falling in. i was very pleased. oh ya, and we watched the simpsons and it was the one where they went to japan and they had the hello kitty factory where they were kitty in distress sounds coming out of it. tee hee... i'm not a san rio fan. -alex
