two things...good news and bad news....
bad news first. i made a coment about asreal (the angsty yet cuddly house cat that would love you and hate you and sit on me as i read zines but would never sit by people she had to sit on them) she got hit by a car while i was in seattle. it was weird. i knew it in a way as eric asked me to watch her and feed her before he left which everyone does anyway. i knew she wouldn't be here when i got back for some reason. we live on a freeway on ramp, it's not the safest place to have pets, or kids for that matter. i'm nort sure how i knew. it is weird i thought i heard her meowing to get in like she always does this morning before i knew she was dead. i used to hear my old dog peter in my parents house after he died too. so ya, no moe asreal. she was hit and the car stoped and then drove away leaving two housemates to burry her in our front yard. how sad. and i'm not as sad as i would be if i had seen here. it is werid when people and things are there and then they are not. i'll miss her even though she did always try to attack ozzrick the dog that jsut watned to play with her.
and the awesome thing is that joe and i found that our attic is HUGE. it is 8 feet tall at the heighest and it slopes down (obviously) but it is the size of our whole fucking house. it will be the most awesome work space after we insulate it. we need to put some windows in and ventalation too but it is so cozy and neat to be able to climb though my closet into some kind of lion withc and the wardrobe of zine producing land. i'm excited but it is so hot up there now that we are going to have wait to get all of the old insulation to put hte new insulation in. oh well i want to put up a rope ladder and hang christmas lights that would be neat and when we get a new bed we can cram the old futon up there.
i need to get up early tomorrow and figure stuff out with steve about sending our zine to distros and stuff. so we'll have a yummy meal at che what? and plan stuff finally. star fiend is picking up brainscan #13 and #15 and i'm excited about that. i hope steve can talk pander into carrying it. i guess they will carry one issue when they carry the split tee hee. ok i'm going to go to fred meyer and make a few expensive copies of #15b cause i'm all out and need ot make a kinko's run thins week.-alex
