Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001 - 9:59 a.m. i have been having a hard tiem sleeping in lately. it is annoying. i was up at 9 and i got to bed at 3. oh well. i have this idea.... ok, my mom raised my sister and i to be crafty resourceful girls. we can make stuff out of thigns people don't reall think about making stuff out of. we had chests of art and craft supplies and when that wasn't enoug hwe stole our mom's stuff. i seem to have this way of making stuff or having ideas for junk so i think i want to put together some kind of craft zine that relates to zines and mail and other practical fixes. a tennetive title would be Stolen Sharpie Revolution (tips for zines, mail and other tricks of the trade you didn't know you knew) it would have lots of stuff with tips nad ideas like how to make you own envelopes with out buying templates, how to deal with distros, where to find extra envelopes, how to make stickers and patches in easy ways, copy machine tips, ad tips, cover ideas, paper making, stamp reclaiming, making your own paintbrushes, mail art ideas, the list goes on. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas? i'd love to hear them. there are so many things that we all take for granted that other people still need to figure out. i guess it is a zine and mail centers skill share zine. does that make any sense? i'm in an excited mood about this right now, trying to coordinate my thoughts is difficult sometimes. all thoughts, ideas, info, tips, and candy can be e-mailed to brainscanzine@ureach.com thanx, alex
