Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001 - 2:29 p.m. i'm feeling lazy today but i want a new typewriter. i think it might take hte bus out ot 82nd to some thrift stores. who knows. the weather is crazy it uncharacteristicly raining really heavy and then the sun is out. i was wondering if any of the stuff for stolen sharpie revoultion is too elementry. no one has said anything but i want experienced zinesters to want to be able to get something out of it as well.help!!! joe left these organic vegan chocolate chips in front of the computer and now i'm going to eat the whole bag and get sick to my belly. i'm listening to this fugazi video that joe is taping ofr someone. i haven't heard fugazi in a long time. it makes me think of this boy cody i used to know. i wonder where he is? i still sned zines to his parents house jsut like he told me to keep doing but i haven't heard from him in over a year. i found this awesoem store called scraps that anyone in portland should check out. it is next to the rebuilding center on N mississippi. as they say "scraps is to art what the rebuilding center is to homes" they ahve piles and buckets and shelves of potential art projects just waiting for yoru insight and they have workspace there to make stuff. we made a case to hold all of our buttons and also display them as well. i got tons of old matte board to make books out of and fabric scraps. i spent yesterday making books. i am going to try to sell them to distro n stuff. i'll probably end up giving them away. they are pretty cool though. inside each one i wrote "this book was made by alex wrekk with paper, glue,fabric scraps, and cinnamon dental floss" because it's true. it's DIY. my parents offered to pay for my dental work for christmas. i think i may take them up on that. i haven't been to a dentist in over 2 years. probably closer to 3. these chocloate chips and the bag of wonka candy pez brought home are all to big reminders. i'm going to go.-alex ***MICROCOSM PUBLISHING***we make 1" buttons, stickers, shirts, and patches. we also distro recrods, books, zines and more. this is how joe and i make a living BUY A COPY OF THE STOLEN SHARPIE REVOLUTIONG BOOK FOR $5 POSTAGE PAID /> stormy is sick and i'm sad - -
