Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001 - 11:46 a.m. i took the train from eugene and joe wa gonna hitchhike. it was raining hard and he had no luck so he met me at the train station and grudgingly gave up his money to ride thetrain back with me. i'm gald he did. i love riding the train with him. i fell asleep in his lap about half way home. there was a screaming baby in front of us and a hippie mom trying to entertain it to be quiet. i don't want a baby. it was so frustrating to hear i don't know what i would do if it was mine. i'd be a horrible parent. working the radio show was fun. i kept picking bands that were not really in line with my sister's show. if i had a radio show no one would want to listen to it. the play list would look like this: joy division, screeching weasel, discount, the smiths, sarge, dead milkmen, the cure, old 97's, shotwell, camper van betthoven, the blastrocks!,new order, material issue, low fi punk from my friends old bands, tones on tail, the mr. t experience, pulp.... and the list goes on. i don't think many people could deal with that. but it would be fun. i got home from the radio show and got on the computer and then went to bed at 8am and got up at 10 to go home. very werid. i worked on stolen sharpie revolution last nigth. i got the papermaking, screen printing, block printing, and book binding flat that we used at the portland zine symposium from muffie. i got 52 pages done so far and i think i am a little over half done. this thing is gonna be huge. pez refered to it as the zine bible but i don't think it is that through. i'm still sorting out the things i am going to add for extra stuff like recipies and random tips. we'll see. i may need to take a break from it for a bit. i worked on orders for microcosm last night. i don't know what got into me. i jsut tore through all of them. i think i am starting to understand joe's organizational method. that or the new office room just makes more sense to me with everything out in the open. some one ordered a bunch of my zines (14,15,16,&17) that always makes me feel good to see. at around 2 joe and i went outside to see the meteors. joe had never seen shooting stars and wasn't sure what to look for. it was a good thing he was wearing his contacts cause with his glasses he has no periphial vision. it was really bright by our house but i could still really see a bunch of them. i found a stock photography book that i haven't ripped up yet and made some more envelopes. i need to make a run to kinko's and make a ton more zines. not to mention that i need to make paper for the covers to 13. i should discontinue back issues but i don't want to. i know it is just going ot be a lot of work keeping up especially with all the distros now. oh well, i'll figure things out. i'm going to try to go wake joe up to go to the vita for breakfast.-alex ***MICROCOSM PUBLISHING***we make 1" buttons, stickers, shirts, and patches. we also distro recrods, books, zines and more. this is how joe and i make a living
