lisa isn't coming up i guess. ben called this moring and he's here in town and is going to stay with us for a bit. we met him down in berkeley last time we were there. he is nice and kinda fits right into my mind of an east bay kid. he and joe went to the craft fair and i'm gonna make buttons and wait for some kids to come pick up buttons.we made a feast last night: mashed potatoes, chili, cornbread, and homemade cinnamon rolls and pabst. i was very very full, got sleepy and listened to art bell as i fell asleep.
i have been having this conversation about le tigre and the MWMF with a girl from utah and i have come to the conclusion that she just won't understand anything unless she gets out of the utah shaped box. a lot of people are that way that live there. i'm so glad i moved it opened my mind to so much more. there is a small women's group there that do shows and support eachother in bands and stuff but i don't think they have any idea of their potential. it is probably hard to see potential when you live in such a repressive state.-alex
