hey! i ran into brandi and korinna yesterday at reading frenzy. it seems like i run into (or almost run into) so many people there from out of town. it is so strange but so cool. i think almsot everytime i go in there i see someone i at least kinda know.
steve got a blank book from matte resist as a letter/mail art sort of thing about our three way split. he didn't know how to respond so he gave it to me to start the dialog i suppose.
anyway we went up to SCRAP with Korinna and brandi and brandi's friend zack from here but he said he had never been to north portland. he's totally missing out on great food and amazing house shows.
tonight i'm going to the harum scarum/curse show tonight. hopefully i'm brining her and maybe her friend along to that. it shold be fun. i bought some beer last night and jenna and i hope to consume it at the show. i seems like everyone is going so it shold be great if the cops don't come.
there was breakfast at melanie's this morning and that was fun to hang out with kids. tim is in town from berkeley/oakland/emeryville wherever it is that his house sits.
i woke up dreaming about berkeley today. i was just hanging out with all the kids i hung out with down there; lisa, josh, ben, julia, lauren, vicki and all the rest. it was just like a normal thing with no crazy dream twists but i had fun. if you can say that about dreams as if you actually did hang out. who knows maybe you can.
i'm listeining to the muffs-hamburger. i like it.
brainscan #18 is don't i'll have stuff shipped out soon enough. if you want more info you can check the last post. joe read it last night and told me that it wasn't cohesive and has repetition. that's not much of a plug but it is the only feed back i have so far. it hurt my feeling that it was the only thing he told me last night. oh well, i like it.-alex
