ok, let me start with thursday after my weird fever night the next night i stayed up with joe talking until 5:30 am. it's like falling in love again, you know? the next day we got up too too early for the amount of sleep we had and went to beterville. then i made soem buttosn and went to meet my new friend tim for coffee, story telling and a walk in the park, or more precicely dizziness on the merry-go-round. i came home and went with zach to his practice place to meet kendra and we went to the mall that i told her you could sometime see tonya hardign at. then we took the max to the rose quarter and the 5 bus to my house where i conviced her ot help me screen print. that was nice. i printed a bunch of shirts. then she left then i dyed joe's mohawk green. he is trying to get in touch with his inner 15 year old punk self. we went to bed early after our nighto f slep dep before.
saturday i made soem buttons and joe and i went on a walk to the bluffs sharing a slurpee and found a deserted tree house that was more like a platform in a tree by the train tracks. we hung out there for hours talking talking talking. it was nice. we came home and loaded up the danger cart (bike trailer) and took microcosm stuff to a poorly attended bennefit for a democratic news paper in iraq. it was interesting and i got to see a few people i havnet' seen in awhile.
sunday i rode my bike to south east listeing to this amazing mix tape i made that is all stuff i listened to in jr. high. tetetively titled "dance party for two" or "when i was 14" i'm not sure which. i will post the track listing some time. i haven't made a mix tape in years so it feels nice to have this new wave (actually i called it "modern rock" or "alternative" back then in 1991) tape it has alll these great memories of gothc dance clubs and boys that i have forgotten thier names. it makes them noew in hte light of spring of 2004.
this spring everything seems amazing and everythign seems possible to me. i haven't felt this way in quite some time.
i got my broken heart and crossbones tattoo. i love it. it is on my upper left arm and it is everything i have wanted for years. the heart is torn and tattered as well as the empty banner. joe wants to be the first to write soemthign in it. i just realized that other people are going to have to write in it because it is on my left arm and i am left handed. oh well.
so ya, it is monday and i have been finishing htis mix tape endign with the dead milkmen-you'll dance to anyhting and the warlock pinchers-morrissey rides a cockhorse. the punker parts of my jr. high self. i didn't add dag nasty, iceburn, or any of the other local bands or industrial stuff i was into at the time but i feel like the way i ended it was great!
i leave for utah on thursdaystory. this mix will go with me so i can ride those streets remembering and listeing. i hope to get a lot of writing done and explore. i hope the spring is as amazing there for me as it is here/
