Monday, Apr. 05, 2004 - 1:39 a.m.

sometimes there are things i just can't write about. they are so personal that to make them simple words would ruin it. there are things that are just for me to share with those i love in words and stutters and facial expressions and paused to catch myself.

i used to think that writing about something made it real. i'm not so sure anymore.

sometimes when things that you held as truths in you heart are spoken in real life; things that should be shocking or emotional, or tragic, they just resonate as something that existed all along. it is like saying "the sky is blue" even if it is something that would have changed your world years before.

sometimes knowing that you were right isn't all it's cracked up to be. right and wrong become irrelavent in the light of a situation when you really truly care about someone. because sometimes when your thoughts ring true that aren't there for you to hold power over someone.

when these things happen you can learn a lot about yourself and how you react to the world around you, how you let the world manipulate you. it gives the thoughts in your head context. it makes you appreciate what you have all the more. it puts the thing that are really important in to focus. it allows you to grow into the person you really are.

this trip has been about closure and growth.
